Bay Leaf — Laurel
The noble laurel, a symbol of victory and an essential Mediterranean aromatic. The deep green, leathery leaves provide a spicy, warm foundation that anchors our more volatile citrus notes.

Our formulations are born from the botanicals of the finca. We anchor each lote in nature, supporting the harvest only with essential, carefully sourced materials to ensure a balanced, beautiful burn.

The noble laurel, a symbol of victory and an essential Mediterranean aromatic. The deep green, leathery leaves provide a spicy, warm foundation that anchors our more volatile citrus notes.
Gathered from ancient, gnarled carob trees scattered across the finca. Often overlooked as just livestock fodder, the dark, leathery pods produce an incredibly rich, complex aroma when slowly roasted and ground.
Though introduced in the 19th century, the towering blue gums have become an inseparable part of the landscape. After the rare winter rains, the crushed leaves beneath the trees release a clearing, mentholated mist into the heavy air.
Growing wild in massive, feathery clusters along the northern slopes of the campo. We forage the fronds in late spring just before the heat turns the landscape completely brown. The pollen-heavy yellow flowers are highly prized.
The essence of late Mediterranean summer. We bypass the sweet fruit entirely, focusing instead on the massive, dusty green leaves that release a distinctive, creamy-green sap when broken.
A fearsome, spiky shrub that erupts into brilliant yellow blooms across the rugged campo. Despite its hostile exterior, the delicate flowers exude an unexpected, intoxicating scent reminiscent of coconut and warm almonds.
Sourced from the old-vine vineyards that blanket the rolling hills. The sun-baked leaves provide a subtle, dry herbaceous note that grounds our lighter floral compositions.
Sourced from the wild blossoms of the Andalusian campo, our raw honey is a golden elixir that captures the essence of the sun-baked landscape. Rich in enzymes and natural humectants, it provides profound nourishment and a delicate, sweet warmth to our botanical formulations.
The undisputed queen of the Moorish night. As the intense heat of the Andalusian sun fades, the star-shaped blossoms open to release a heavy, intoxicating cloud that blankets the ancient courtyard gardens.
The bright, tart counterpart to our Seville orange. Grown in the sun-drenched coastal valleys, these thick-skinned lemons provide an incredibly sharp, clean top note to our aromatic blends.
An incredibly rugged, drought-resistant evergreen shrub native to the Mediterranean basin. We collect both the deep green leaves and the rare 'tears' of sap it weeps in late summer. It is a cornerstone of our loose incense blends.
A harbinger of the Andalusian spring, the loquat fruit offers a delicate, velvet-skinned sweetness. We capture this fleeting, apricot-like aroma to soften and sweeten our early seasonal pours.
The dark, staining fruit of the black mulberry tree. Growing wild along the riverbeds, these fragile berries offer a deep, wine-like richness that adds complexity and a hint of dark fruit to our winter blends.
A staple of classic Islamic garden design, most famously flanking the reflecting pools of the Alhambra. The small, glossy leaves and delicate white flowers release a uniquely sharp, uplifting resinous scent when crushed.
The undisputed monarch of the Andalusian landscape. We utilize both the silvery, bitter leaves and the concentrated essence of the unpressed dark fruit to capture the soul of the groves.
Sourced from the historic groves of the region. The thick, heavily-pitted rind holds incredibly concentrated essential oils. We use it to brighten our botanical soaps and wardrobe sachets.
The defining scent of southern Spain. In the brutal heat of August, the rockrose bushes secrete a sticky, dark amber resin called labdanum to protect their leaves from the intense Andalusian sun. This survival mechanism creates one of the most complex and ancient perfume ingredients in the world.
The ubiquitous, resilient herb of the Mediterranean. It grows in massive, sprawling bushes on the sunward slopes. We use it not just for its scent, but for its natural purifying properties in our botanical soaps.
The iconic parasol-shaped pines that define the skyline around Gaucín and the Serranía de Ronda. We forage the fallen needles and young green cones, which carry a distinctively bright, resinous profile unlike any other pine in Europe.
A specific, wildly aromatic variety of thyme native to the Iberian peninsula. It grows stubbornly in the rocky limestone crevices of the campo. It has a penetrating, almost medicinal clarity that cuts through heavy summer heat.
Growing in massive, low-lying carpets across the undisturbed meadows. These tiny, sun-like flowers are a symbol of rural healing, prized for their ability to soften the harsher edges of the wild flora.
Unlike the manicured, sweet varieties of Provence, the wild spike lavender of the Andalusian campo is rougher, hardier, and far more medicinal, thriving in the unforgiving rocky soil alongside thyme.
Growing vigorously near the seasonal streams (arroyos) that cross the valley. This wild strain of mint is far more robust and less sweet than cultivated varieties, carrying the raw energy of the rushing winter water.
"Synthetics give you volume. Wildcrafting gives you geography. We choose geography."
Andalusian Beeswax & Tallow Our base matters as much as our fragrance. We reject soy or paraffin waxes. Instead, we use a blend of raw, unfiltered beeswax, creating a slow-burning candle with a subtle, honeyed warmth.
